Who is LPAS?

LPAS began in 1979, to celebrate the fine fishing and camaraderie enjoyed among the families living along Liberty Point.  Please see our Community page for more details.

Each year our Big Fish Award is awarded to the member, or houseguest, who catches the biggest fish in Mullett Lake between Memorial Day and Labor Day that year.  This award can be for any species.  The largest example within each type of species caught is recorded and among all these other “biggest fish,” a winner is drawn for the name of the person who wins the LPAS Award for the year.  Granular details about additional regulations and glories associated with these awards are available in the Society’s official documents, to be scanned and uploaded here over the coming year.
